“Come on babe. If we do it this way, you will get all of the babies out of the way and not have to worry about anything else. I got you. You know how much I love you I just want children to show the world what our love can do,” Malachi said as I sat on the cold examining table.

We were sitting in an examination room of a fertility specialist. After two years of marriage, Malachi ha convinced me to try and get pregnant. After two miscarriages within three months, he decided for me that we should try in vitro. I was hesitant but he said that he had already made the initial appointment without consulting me.

That should have been a red flag right there, but I ignored the warning God was sending me. I just went along with it because I was young, dumb, and in love. So we were sitting in the doctor’s office for the fourth time to have the eggs that were harvested implanted into my uterus.

“You don’t know how happy you’re making me today. I promise you that I’m gonna ride with you till the wheels fall off,” he said grabbing my hand while the doctor conducted the procedure.
